  Speaker Bio:

  Chris has over 25 years’ supply chain experience, having worked in operational and business development roles in 3PL and in-house operations covering a variety of different sectors, including food retailing, airlines and passenger gateways, automotive, consumer and industrial.

  In his current role, Chris has responsibility for product development and growth for the Envirosolutions and Passenger Gateways sector within DHL. This includes the creation of a product strategy that expands product reach; vertically, by increasing the range of services to meet customers’ needs and horizontally, by increasing the geographic and sector scope of the products to match the footprint of DHL Supply Chain’s global customers.

  Chris leads a global team that sees innovation, continuous improvement and strategic commercial arrangements as a facilitator to DHL’s role of being a disruptor to the market. Their role is to challenge and change the status quo, resulting in lower costs and more efficient operations for the customer. DHL draws on its wide customer and sector base to ensure that the industry benefits from innovation across the supply chain ensuring great food and products and excellent service delivery.
