Annette joined BASC in October 2010 and managed a £1.6 million tourism project to make the South West of England a premier destination for country sports.
In 2014 she was asked to head up the game meat department of the company and manage the Taste of Game Campaign. The campaign encourages the consumer to eat game through great recipes, special offers and delicious game products. Taste of Game informs people about local and natural produce that has been harvested or hunted, encouraging the sustainable, best practice use of a natural food.
Annette was previously Deputy Director Head of Research and Development of South West Tourism the regional tourist board. She was also co-author of the rural tourism framework for the South West and managed a £10m delegated grant scheme for rural tourism.
Annette has always lived in the country coming from a farming family, she rides and shoots and lives on Dartmoor in Devon with her partner. She has two grown up children and a grand-daughter.
