    Speaker Bio:

    Quentin Clark joined LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) as Director Business Collaboration in March 2016. Quentin’s role at LEAF is to plan and lead a business collaboration strategy to work with third party organisations to place sustainable food and farming high on their agenda.

     

    Formerly Head of Sustainability at Waitrose, Quentin held various positions at Waitrose for 29 years including Head of Commercial Buying for produce and poultry, fish and eggs. For the six years, prior to joining LEAF he led the engagement of suppliers, partners and customers in the sustainability and ethical sourcing agenda. 

     

    Speaking on joining LEAF, Quentin commented: “For the last 25 years, I have seen what LEAF has achieved and am greatly enjoying working with the team. LEAF has such an important role to play in promoting the values of sustainable farming to the general public, helping farmers maximise resources and delivering more sustainable food and farming across the supply chain. The next 25 years are full of potential.”

    We work with farmers, the food industry, scientists and consumers, to inspire and enable sustainable farming that is prosperous, enriches the environment and engages local communities. We do this through developing and promoting Integrated Farm Management (IFM), a whole farm business approach that delivers sustainable farming. I will look at what we do and the critical role that communication plays in promoting Healthy Food and Farming, Fit For The Future.
